ABOUT ME
I was born and bred in South Wales. I live in Brynmenyn with my partner. Originally born in Newport, I lived in Brynmawr until I was seven, before moving to Caerphilly. At the age of 19 I moved to Barry. I studied History at Cardiff Metropolitan University, but before that I trained as a butcher.

I’ve worked in many different roles, including Further Education, office management and before being elected as the MP for Ogmore I was a full time County Councillor and Cabinet Member leading on Education and Children’s Social Services.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music and spending time with my niece and two nephews.
I've been privileged to meet community groups and residents from up and down the constituency and have relished taking up the issues that matter to you all year round, not just at election time.
