Inappropriately fitted cavity wall insulation has cost thousands of pounds in repair works across South Wales. Ogmore MP, Chris Elmore, recently contributed to a Westminster Hall debate in Parliament following numerous constituents contacting him regarding cavity wall insulation. The insulation, claimed the MP, had been installed within properties where it was inappropriate to do so. The method, can treat the issue which focuses on the core problem: the brain’s inability to process visual information. Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, recently attended a thank you event in Parliament hosted by Anthony Nolan, in recognition of his support for the blood cancer charity’s successful campaign to fund a lifesaving treatment. The Ogmore MP backed the ‘Defend Second Transplants’ campaign after NHS England announced last July it would no longer routinely fund second stem cell transplants for people whose blood cancer or blood disorder relapses. Ogmore MP Chris Elmore joined the Urdd to welcome schools from across South Wales for the Urdd 7’s tournament held at Pencoed Rugby club this week. The competition whose winners included Cardiff and Vale College and Ysgol Glantaf attracted teams form the Amman valley to Cross Keys. Chris Elmore MP visited Abercerdin Primary and Cefn Cribwr Primary school this week. The MP met with pupils and head teachers to discuss challenges and successes the schools have had. Standards across Bridgend have increased consistently over the last four years and the MP was keen to congratulate staff and pupils on their hard work.
