The Great Get Together is an annual event inspired by Jo Cox, a member of Parliament who was killed on 16 June 2016. At its heart lies a belief that there is a groundswell of people who reject divisive politics, and simply want to bring our communities together and celebrate the things that they have in common. Shared Prosperity Fund? More Like Shared Uncertainty Fund

Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, has slammed the uncertainty facing Welsh businesses post-Brexit amidst the continued lack of clarity from the government over the Shared Prosperity Fund. The UK-wide fund has been proposed as a means of replacing regional development funding currently provided by the European Union. The fund is intended to come into force in 2020. Chris Elmore Praises Vital Work Of Police Dogs Unit

Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, has visited the Metropolitan Police’s Dog Support Unit to learn more about their work to keep the public safe. Chris is currently taking part in the Parliamentary Policing Scheme, which allows MPs to get out on the beat with police forces across the UK and visit specialist units to learn more about how they’re helping the public.
