Chris Elmore MP and his staff swapped suits for jumpers today to support Save the Children’s Christmas jumper appeal. The staff and MP will be donating money at their end of year Christmas meal to the charity.
Chris Elmore MP said: “It’s a bit of fun for a very important cause. My team and I are very happy to be ditching our normal office wear for jumpers and (more importantly) donating some money to the charity who work tirelessly all year round to give support to Children who don’t have and can’t support themselves.”
16th of December was Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day to ‘get silly for a serious cause’. So far (as of December 15th) the charity had raised £75,210. To donate visit christmasjumperday.org and see where the money is going.
