Chris Elmore MP joined local Llanharan residents and school children for the Llanharan OAP Association’s annual Easter Bonnet Parade.
School children from Dolau Primary School and Y Pant School joined with members of the Association to take part in the festivities. The Ogmore MP was delighted to share the difficult task of judging the vast array of creative entries alongside fellow judges Chris Parker, Chair of Llanharan Community Council, and Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Rhys Lewis.
Mr Elmore said: “It’s fantastic to see different generations coming together at this event to start the Easter holidays in style. Gill Richards and the team who organise the parade really do deserve a huge amount of credit for what is a truly great event.”
Also in attendance at the parade were Geraint Hopkins and Barry Stephens.
The Parade was held in Llanharan Rugby Football Club on Monday 3rd April.
