MP visits Maesteg foodbank

Chris Elmore MP visited Maesteg foodbank this week. Mr Elmore, who opened Pencoed foodbank earlier in the month, visited volunteers and was taken around.

The MP said: “The foodbanks are a lifeline for some of the most deprived people in our society. These volunteers who give up their free time are absolutely brilliant and deserve a lot of credit.”

The Maesteg foodbank is open every Friday from 11 am to 2 pm.
