Aberkenfig Churches Together Provides Vital Lifeline

Ogmore MP Chris Elmore joined Aberkenfig’s Churches Together to discuss their debt helpline service this week. The Churches have joined together with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to give people free advice with debt issues. The group run local charity shop The Storehouse where profits go to cover the costs of Christians Against Poverty so people can obtain free advice.

Chris Elmore MP said: “It was a pleasure to have a look around the storehouse shop and get some information on CAP’s great work. The shop is run by some fantastic volunteers.”

The shop also helps young families with clothes and equipment if they are struggling with costs.
