"Nominate Today to Celebrate Wales' Diversity", says Ogmore MP

Chris Elmore, Member of Parliament for Ogmore, is appealing to constituents to enter nominations for the Welsh Diversity Awards being held next year.

The awards, which aim to create a new generation of positive role models for young people of all backgrounds across Wales, were created following the highly successful National Diversity Awards and the Excellence in Diversity Awards.

Chris Elmore MP commented: “I know there are hundreds of individuals, businesses and community groups which would be fitting of a nomination to this fantastic awards event – get your nominations in today!”.

There are fourteen categories open for nominations, including the Welsh Cultural Icon Award, the Positive Role Model Award, and Diverse Company of the Year Award.

Mr Elmore continued: “It’s vital that the amazing work of people from across Wales is recognised, and I’m delighted that these individuals and groups are going to get the recognition they deserve”.

Nominations for the Welsh Diversity Awards are open until October 2017.
