Chris Elmore MP and Huw Irranca-Davies AM, who both represent the Ogmore constituency, are promoting an exciting opportunity for local residents.
The Ogmore MP and AM will be holding a joint Advice Surgery on Friday, 22nd September 2017 to allow constituents to gain more information about the rollout of smart meters across Wales. The event is being held in collaboration with Smart Energy GB and Cefn Cribwr Young at Heart.
Mr Elmore commented: “With the weather starting to turn, September is often the time of year which can be a worry for many with energy bills being so high. Huw and I are delighted to be holding this special surgery with Smart Energy GB to make sure constituents can get the most cost-effective deal possible”.
The event will be held at Cefn Cribwr’s Green Hall, 85 Cefn Road, Cefn Cribwr, CF32 0AW between 2pm and 4pm.
Mr Irranca-Davies added: “This is a great chance to hear useful energy-saving tips, and to learn about smart-energy meters too”.
Smart Energy GB is the voice of the smart meter rollout, tasked with helping everyone across the UK understand what the technology means for them.
Both Chris Elmore MP and Huw Irranca-Davies AM are encouraging as many people as possible to attend. They also advise that constituents may call 01656 860 034 should they require further information prior to the event.
