Congratulations to all GCSE Students

Following on from the successes of last week’s A-Level results, I wanted to extend my sincere congratulations to all those students picking up their GCSE results this week.

Results day can be a stressful time for many. Have I done enough to go to college? Have I got the grades to go to sixth form? Is the job I’m taking right for me?

It’s important to remember that no matter what grades you found in your envelope, there is always a way of following your aspirations if you try hard enough.

I would like to wish you all the best of luck if you are seeking employment or continuing with further study. From visiting many of your schools, I am confident that the array of talents I have witnessed will take you far.

Thanks must also go out to all of our highly committed Headteachers, teachers, lecturers, support staff, school governors and, of course, the parents, who have helped you all get to where you are today.

Should you require any support from me as your Member of Parliament in the future, please do not hesitate to contact my office on 01656 860 034 or email
