I’m humbled today, to stand with communities across Ogmore, remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we have today.
I was honoured to lay wreaths in both Maesteg and Nantymoel and in spite of the weather, people came from far and wide to remember, pay tribute and mark the centenary of the end of the World War One and all conflicts since.
We must continue to remember their sacrifice, and learn from conflict, strive towards peace, tolerance and understanding.
