On Thursday, the Prime Minister made a statement to the House of Commons on her Brexit deal.
The deal fails to deliver on workers rights, environmental protections and a whole host of areas which were promised in past statements and speeches she has made.
She was asked time and time again, as there is little support in her own cabinet and even less so in Parliament, if she will push us off the ‘No Deal’ cliff edge.
Whatever your view on Brexit, no one voted to take rules from the EU whist having no say on how they are decided, no one voted to put jobs at risk and no one voted to put our United Kingdom union in jeopardy.
The Prime Minister has failed; her stubbornness is one of her greatest weaknesses and a real risk to our county’s future. Her unwillingness to change course and her insistence on this deal or no deal is a mess of her own making and the public need to know who is to blame for this Brexit shambles.
