Parliament Needs to be More Accessible

Before Christmas, I asked the Minister for Women and Equalities to ensure we make Parliament as accessible as possible so that we can encourage more people with disabilities to stand for office.

It's essential that our democracy becomes more representative of the population as a whole and widening access to our Parliament is a key part of that.
