Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, has expressed his delight at visiting the brand new Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd in Bettws, Bridgend.
During his visit, he was treated to a tour of the school and talked to staff and students about how they were settling in to their new surroundings.
Speaking at the school, Chris Elmore MP said:
“It’s an absolute pleasure to be here today and to see all of the teachers, support staff and students settling in so well into their state-of-the-art school. It really is a first class facility.”
The school was funded by the Welsh Government and Bridgend County Borough Council through the Twenty First Century Schools programme.
Chris Elmore MP added:
“I’d like to pay tribute to Bridgend County Borough Council, the leadership team at the school and all of the governors for their hard work in getting this new school off the ground. I look forward to visiting again in the near future!”
