Local Welsh Labour MP for Ogmore, Chris Elmore, is inviting his constituents to attend a new series of virtual advice surgeries which are soon to be held via the videoconferencing app, Zoom.
Since the Covid-19 lockdown began, Chris and his office team have been working remotely to respond to an unprecedented number of enquiries from local residents. As lockdown restrictions begin to ease, he has now scheduled a series of advice surgeries through which constituents can schedule virtual face-to-face conversations with him should they need to.
Chris Elmore MP said:
“My postbag and email inbox has understandably been extremely full since this unsettling period began. My team and I have been working hard to ensure that we can provide help and support to as many local residents as possible.
“While we’ve been able to support hundreds of constituents since the pandemic began, these new virtual advice surgeries will provide an opportunity for local residents to have a more in depth conversation with me about any issues or concerns they may be experiencing.
“Of course, these surgeries don’t replace the other ways you can get in touch to raise issues with me – please drop me an email or give my office a call if you have a problem you think I can help with!”
The following virtual advice surgeries have been confirmed:
Friday, 19 June | 12 noon – 1pm
Friday, 3 July | 12 noon – 1pm
Friday, 17 July | 12 noon – 1pm
Constituents must pre-book an appointment for these advice surgeries and can do so my emailing email@example.com. Ogmore constituents are still able to raise issues or concerns with Chris via email or by calling 01656 860034 and leaving an answerphone message.
Future virtual surgery dates will be confirmed via Chris’ social media feeds:
