Ogmore MP urges residents to get tested if they think they may have contracted Covid-19

Following concerns expressed on social media about a possible new case of Covid-19 in the Maesteg area, Ogmore MP Chris Elmore has urged residents who suspect they may have contracted the virus to get tested as soon as possible.

Chris Elmore MP said:

“The reason why Covid-19 restrictions have been relaxed over the summer is because of the effort we have all made to follow the rules, observe social distancing and respect each other’s health. We must continue to work together to stop the virus from spreading once again.

“I would urge all my constituents to stay up to date on the latest public health advice. If you suspect you may have contracted Covid-19, then self-isolate and get tested. We will only get through this pandemic if we all continue to follow the rules”.
