Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, has reiterated his support for the Anti-Bullying Alliance and their United Against Bullying campaign as we mark Anti-Bullying Week.
Anti-Bullying Week runs annually during the third week of November to raise awareness of the significant impact that bullying can have as well as the ways in which we can all help to tackle bullying whenever we see it.
Chris Elmore MP said:
“I have spoken on numerous occasions about my experiences of bullying and the terrible impact it had on my own childhood. Since then, I have heard from many others who have also experienced appalling emotional and physical abuse at the hands of others, and I have always vowed to stand up and speak out against bullying.
“We all have an important role to play – parents, teachers, politicians, celebrities, and young people themselves. Together we can help raise awareness of the impact bullying can have and pledge never to stand by in the face of bullying”.
